Denver Real Estate Report - Uptown

Uptown lies between Colfax on the South and 20th on the North and runs between Broadway to the West and York to the East. At one point in Denver's history this was a fairly run-down part of town that one would have been reluctant to walk through at night. However, as the Hospital complex grew there was more and more demand for housing for the residents, nurses, and numerous other vital staff members that make hospitals work.

Some Denver residents feared that when CU Medical Center and The Children's Hospital moved East that Uptown may suffer, but it has continued to thrive and property values in the area are as strong as ever. Being close to Downtown with a great variety of housing options from restored Denver Squares, Queen Ann Victorians, rowhomes that feel very similar to NYC brownstones, converted loft space and contemporary condos.

Uptown also hosts some of the hottest restaurants in Denver. A few that we love are Parallel 17 with amazing French-inspired Vietnamese food, Vine street with its friendly atmosphere and great local beer, and Pinche Tacos, which has become so popular from its roots in a food truck, that getting a table may require an hour or more sipping fantastic coin margaritas at the bar before you can score a table.
