Denver Real Estate Market Report - Edgewater

Walking down the streets of Edgewater brings the nostalgia of being in a Norman Rockwell painting, where neighbors know each other and bring pies to anyone who moves in next door. It's a gem of a neighborhood located just outside the city of Denver, with rural-like streets filled with big trees, huge lots and mature gardens brimming to the street.

Nestled on the edge of Sloan's Lake to the East, 20th Ave. to the South, more or less 26th Ave. to the North and just past Pierce St. to the West, it's an urban neighborhood with an adorable old town. Home to the legendary Edgewater Inn where locals go for a cheap beer and a good slice of pizza, it's also a community that hosts kids fairs on in the summer.

Small timber cottages are the norm, but one can find old Victorian farmhouses, brick bungalows, mid-century ranches and an increasing number of newly-built contemporary homes. Edgewater is a great neighborhood for those priced out of Highlands or who want a more laid-back neighborhood with all the urban amenities.
