Celebrating in Style: Denver New Year's Eve Events

The dimming of The Mile High City’s festive lights and packing of the evergreen boughs signal the end of the winter holiday season. (But we all know the holiday cookies and mint mochas will grace your plate - and cup - for at least another month.)

But Denver isn’t quite done with 2025… not yet. There’s still time to crank up the glitz, glamor, and fireworks for some Denver New Year’s Eve events to remember. Get ready to trade your resolutions for revelry because, in the Mile High City, it’s all about ringing in the 2026 New Year in style.

Denver New Year’s Eve Events

The Clocktower Cabaret's Annual New Year's Eve Burlesque Bash

Bid farewell to the year with a touch of burlesque and beheadings at The Clocktower Cabaret. This year, the iconic Denver venue pays tribute to the musical SIX at their 202SIX event. A dazzling lineup of performances from the hit show, a midnight toast, and downtown fireworks make it an unforgettable celebration.

Annual Union Station New Year’s Party

Dress to the nines for The Cooper Lounge’s masquerade ball or join the celebration sans dress code in Union Station’s Great Hall. (But still RSVP). If you like to sing Auld Lang Syne with a side of galmor, this is your party.

One Night in Paris: Moulin Rouge Drag Show

The costumes, the talent, the high kicks! The Moulin Rouge-inspired experience includes all-inclusive food, drink, and live performances by the Ballyhoo Table & Stage.

Noon Year's Eve at the Children's Museum

A Times Square experience for the little ones! Enjoy ball drops at 10 a.m., noon, and 2 p.m., along with music, treats, and family-friendly activities at the Children's Museum.

A Lipgloss NYE at the Hi-Dive

The Hi-Dive sets the stage for an extraordinary musical experience with a night of dance… and reasonably-priced entry.

Y2K NYE at Improper City

Step back in time (but not too far) and don’t forget your mini backpack or your Doc Martins. It’s going to be all that and a bag of chips.

Downtown Fireworks

Illuminate the night sky as Downtown Denver transforms into a canvas for a mesmerizing fireworks display. Join the crowd in Civic Center Park and welcome the New Year with a (literal) bang.

New Year's Eve at The Mile High Tree

Gather around the iconic Mile High Tree at Civic Center Park for a festive light show, music, and a magical atmosphere. It's a family-friendly celebration with a touch of enchantment.

Denver NYE Black Tie Party

Step into glamor at the Denver NYE Black Tie Party at Asterisk Denver. An open bar, live music, Vegas-style casino games, and a 2,000-balloon drop await, ensuring a night of sophistication and celebration.

Denver Milk Market New Year's Slay

Start 2026 with “sequins” dresses and bottomless mimosas at Denver Milk Market. Fill the first of the year with bingo, drag queens, prizes, and brunch favs. Because on New Year's Day, you won’t want to be a drag. You’ll just want to be a queen. (Us too.)

The mistletoe may be boxed and shelved, but Denver’s love affair with festivity can’t be contained. Whether you're tapping your toes to 90s tunes at Improper City, laughing at King Henry the VII in Denver’s Clocktower, or kicking the bingo competition at the Denver Milk Market, one thing’s for sure – our city knows how to throw a party.
