Last year, we predicted dark walls, plums and lavenders, and retro-floral patterns. Hate to brag (or maybe we love it), but boy were we right! The charcoal wall trend with pops of feminine flair was everywhere in 2018. Since our approach of looking at current fashion trends to predict what would be in vogue for home interiors was so successful, we're doing it again for Denver's interior trend forecast 2019.
Is it just me or does it seem like we've all stepped into a time machine, only to pop back out in 1999? Fashion trends are favoring the good old 90's and we expect interior decor to follow (pleated) suit.
Denver's Interior Trend Forecast 2019

Colors

Remember khaki and beige? You will by the end of 2019. The 90s adored beige, so we foresee a reentrance of the chill color in interior decor this year. You're likely to notice beiges, tans, and whites as backdrops to color accents.
As far as hues of a more vibrant nature, we're expecting reds and pinks to dominate Denver interiors in 2019. Runways from New York to Milan are favoring these romantic shades and we think Denver homes will too.
Patterns

Along with the resurgence of Doc Martens and sporty crop tops, 2019 is experiencing some nostalgic love of 90s flannel checks and feminine florals (Ã la Kelly Kapowski). Expect to see these flowery and grunge prints in living rooms and bedrooms this year.
Textures

Since matching isn't really a thing these days, interior designers and home decorators alike are incorporating a variety of prints and textures in 2019. The 90s affinity toward velvet, iridescents, leather, and knits is likely to make its way into homes this year too.
Accents

How did we accessorize fashion in the 90s? With bolo ties and cowboy boots, of course! 2019 should see some western influence too especially in Denver. Our cowtown roots should crop up in western rugs and tapestries this year.
