The Lincoln Park Neighborhood

Lincoln Park is one of Denver's oldest neighborhoods, located just south of the heart of the city. Extremely walkable to downtown, Lincoln Park is also connected to the rest of the city via a light rail station and the popular Cherry Creek bike path. The neighborhood is home to the Santa Fe Arts District, a multi-faceted strip of eclectic shops and galleries, and host to the ever popular First Friday event, which draws thousands of people to enjoy the arts, food trucks, and live entertainment.

Lincoln Park's Neighborhood Rankings

8/10Walking Score

Visit over 20 dining destinations, 10 coffee shops and a handful of bars within a mile of any given Lincoln Park spot. In addition to all the leisure at your fingertips, the Speer King Soopers is within walking distance for most of this urban neighborhood.

7/10Transportation Score

This centralized location is very well connected to the rest of Denver by rail (including two stops), bike paths and highways - you can be almost anywhere in the metro area within 20 minutes or so.

6/10Local Score

Sante Fe Blvd & 6th Ave provide nearly countless options for food, drink and art. Plus, visit Denver’s oldest restaurant and recipient of Colorado’s first liquor license, The Buckhorn Exchange, at 10th and Osage.

3/10Convenience Score

You’ll only find one grocery store in the Lincoln Park neighborhood - a King Soopers at 13th and Santa Fe. But, with this location’s top-notch accessibility, many other conveniences can be found just outside of the neighborhood’s boundaries. In fact, Trader Joes is just a couple blocks east of Lincoln Park.

EASYParking

This urban location offers something many other city neighborhoods can’t; convenient parking! If you’re looking for a cozy home for your engine-hearted family member, Lincoln Park might be your ideal spot.

EVOLVINGVibe

Lincoln Park is home to Denver’s beautiful Sunken Gardens Park along Speer, West High School (one of Denver’s first schools), and Denver Health. The rich history of the neighborhood is making way for hip hangouts, while maintaining its long-standing relevance.

7/10Densitiy

Lincoln Park’s mix of townhomes, condos, apartments, and single family residences make for a dense city neighborhood.
