Corcoran Perry & Co. - Highland/lohi

The Highland/LoHi Neighborhood

Located just northwest of Downtown Denver, the Denver Highlands provide a convenient haven for its lucky residents and a charming dining and shopping destination for all. Bound by Sheridan, 38th Ave, Zuni, 23rd Ave & Lowell, Denver Highland is enjoying a resurgence, and has become one of Denver's hottest areas. New lofts and renovated bungalows attract residents & urban families who appreciate its pleasant streets, local businesses & central location. The neighborhood’s epicenter, Highland Square offers many hip shops & restaurants as well as a gathering place for the community. Plus, the quickest of jaunts across the Highland Bridge will bring you face to face with Confluence Park and mere steps from Denver’s trendy Union Station.

Highland/LoHi's Neighborhood Rankings

9/10Walking Score

Not only does LoHi Denver provide some of the coolest dining, drinking, and art locations available in any Denver neighborhood, it also offers up the convenient Highland Pedestrian Bridge that allows residents to walk, bike, or otherwise cross from LoHi directly to downtown without a car!

8/10Transportation Score

With Union Station just across the Highland Pedestrian Bridge and plenty of bike lanes, Denver’s LoHi neighborhood makes transportation a breeze.

9/10Local Score

This is what LoHi is all about! Some of Denver’s trendiest dining locations reside in LoHi and rooftop bars are LoHi’s “thing” - and with the million dollar view available in most of the Denver Neighborhood, it only makes sense. Boutique shops are also sprinkled throughout the neighborhood and never disappoint.

3/10Convenience Score

With no grocery stores or big box chains to speak of, LoHi is not for those seeking big box and errand convenience. You’ll have to travel a few miles into Wheat Ridge or to Downtown Denver for these amenities.

DIFFICULTParking

One small pain you’ll have to live with if you move to LoHi; parking. Parking is limited and the the popular restaurants and bars have many a Denverite waiting for street parking on evenings and weekends.

HOPPIN'Vibe

Forbes’ didn’t name LoHi one of the best American hipster neighborhoods for nothing! Its signature rooftop bar scene doesn’t disappoint come Friday or Saturday night, and happy hours are awesome throughout the neighborhood. However, if you’re looking for a place to dance, you’d be better suited to take your partying into Downtown.

9/10Densitiy

The Highlands is moderately dense, with a mix of single-family homes, modern apartments, and bustling commercial areas. While it's busier than some suburban neighborhoods, it retains a relaxed and livable feel.
