The Washington Park Neighborhood

Washington Park is one of Denver's favorite neighborhoods, owing to its tree-lined streets and the fabulous, 161-acre park from which the area gets its name. Bounded by Speer Boulevard, I-25, University & Broadway, Wash Park attracts residents who can afford the area's ever-expanding homes. Included in the Wash Park Area is Washington Park West, bounded by Speer Boulevard, I-25, Downing, and Broadway. The park's lakes, rec center, gardens, playgrounds, and trails are exceedingly popular with all Denverites. Popular restaurants along Alameda Avenue feed residents, and I-25 and a light-rail station connect to the city.
