Step 3: Find Your Tribe

"The City of Denver and Front Range communities have made real concerted efforts over the past few years to make for a sustainable, safe, and all-inclusive bicycle community. Trails, greenways, bike lanes, policy, and special programs are leading the way for greater Denver to be a model city in the United States for bicycle standards and safety. I can personally go for a 60-mile bike ride on city trails and bike paths without ever touching a road. There are many types of bikes and forms of biking like commuting, e-biking, cruisers, single speeds, road biking, mountain biking, gravel riding, etc. Whatever your bike "tribe" may be, there is a niche for everyone to get out for a sustainable mode of transportation on 2 wheels."

E-Bikes in Denver

E-bikes are electric bicycles that allow riders to get a boost of up to 28 mph and are rechargeable. E-bikes are also a great solution for decreasing your carbon footprint. And an additional bonus - commuting to work on an e-bike can save you thousands on regular car maintenance and fuel.
Denver residents who use e-bikes are eligible for instant rebates through the city, saving cyclists up to $1,700 on the purchase of an e-bike or e-cargo bike from a participating bike shop. For more information about Denver's program, visit: denvergov.org
