Dozens of festivals, light displays, and haunted attractions are scheduled across the Denver metro area this September and October.

The season runs roughly ten weeks, from Denver Oktoberfest's opening weekend on September 18 through Halloween events on October 31 and early November events, a stretch of calendar that will (with certainty) include at least one 80-degree day and one hard freeze in the same week.
