Valentine's day is here!

I'm spoiling my husband and taking him to Matsuhisa in Cherry Creek on the 13th for a culinary experience. Chef Nobu is going to be visiting the restaurant on the 13th and 14th which will make our night even more special!

Cuba Cuba is a long time favorite. Located in a charming & cozy home in Golden Triangle @ 1173 Delaware St - The fare is delicious and light. If you are lucky enough to start your date in the afternoon... check out some art first at Denver Art Museum or Clyfford Still Museum (both close at5pm), then walk on over to Cuba Cuba. Runner up favorites: Cafà Brazil in Sunnyside, Mizu Izakaya or Root Down in LoHi.

What says love like Ice Cream? We will stopping by Little Man Ice Cream on Valentines Day to get a sweet treat for me and my kiddos. Xoxo

We are headed to Nocturne, 1330 27th Street, Denver. Great food, service and music. Love it.

My all time fav is Strawberry Hot Springs in Steamboat. A couples massage, a skinny dip in the natural mineral springs with champagne powder wafting all around. A retreat into one of their unique rustic huts with a bottle of wine & chocolate covered strawberries, yadda yadda yadda, awake to the quiet, still softness of a snow covered forest.

- Karen Dixon

Last year my husband and I went to the Botanical Gardens and then strolled to Shells and Sauce followed by a stop at Sienna Wine Bar on the way home for a nightcap. This year since I'm duein 7 weekswe will likely go more low-key with a burger at Park Burger plus a sweet treat at High Point Creamery.

Always love an excuse for a fancy and romantic dinner, but for Valentine's I like to cook at home. Some favorites are crab legs, crab cakes and "hot kisses" - which are shrimp, pickled jalapeno, and jack cheese all wrapped in bacon and grilled.

- Emily Hayduk

I'm going to stop by Bear Creek Distillery near South Broadway and Evans for one of their delicious cocktails. They make perfectly balanced, original cocktails with their own spirits. The bartenders are great company and who knows, maybe I'll meet that special someone?

- Kassidy Benson

I am a sucker for Larimer Square around this time of year! Whether it be dinner, taking a stroll downtown, or having an intimate drink and conversation, this beautifully lit and ambient streetis super special!

- Ryan Belinak

Cook a romantic Surf and turf dinner together with a couple bottles of wine! Then end the night with chocolate covered strawberries and a dance party in the living room! Now that's romantic.

- Michelle Wells

On a chair lift wherever the snow is falling... followed by champagne in a hot tub :)

- Shelley Conger

Playing hooky for a mountain bike ride or day of skiing and a leisurely lunch at one of our amazing local breweries!
