If you were visiting somebody in Denver, where would you rather wait for a ride -- outside door 410 at DIA or inside Union Station? I know. Me, too. So why the heck are you still picking people up at the airport?
Tell your friends and family to take the A Line to Union Station and you'll get there when you get there. They won't mind. They can grab a cocktail and play table shuffleboard. They can get food at some of the best restaurants in town. They'll be having so much fun, they won't even complain if you're late.

And you won't complain, because you'll be saving yourself over an hour in the car. When you live west of Denver, you're pretty much passing by Union Station on the way to the airport. There's already way too much traffic on that stretch of I-70. Don't add to it. Save yourself the time and stress so your visitors' first impression isn't you being a cranky mess.
It's so dang easy. They get their bags, take the escalator outside of the south exit of the terminal, get a $9 ticket and hop on board the train. Trains leave the airport every 15 minutes, it takes the same amount of time as driving if there was no traffic (that's funny) and they'll get off right next to Union Station.
