Join the Live Urban Team!

We are really happy to support Florence Crittenton, one of our Live + Give Recipients for 2016 by putting together a team for one of their main fundraisers of the year...and we would love for you to join us! Make sure to choose Live Urban from the drop-down menu when you register!

Miles for Moms brings people together from all walks of life to truly celebrate Mom while raising funds forFlorence Crittenton Servicesand helping continue the mission to educate, prepare, and empower teen moms.

Join us for the12th Annual Miles For Moms 5K Run/Walkat Sloan's Lake Park (17th Ave. and Utica St.) onSaturday, May 7, 2016! This event is open to people of all ages and sizes. You can run or walk you can push a child's stroller, jog with your dog, or run to beat your personal record (option to have your race timed as a qualifier for the BolderBOULDER). Bring your mother and your family too! This event includes family-friendly activities such as face painting, Mother's Day card-making, balloon artists, and more! Your participation will make a difference in the lives of teen moms and their children.

Event registration is $25, and includes a 2016 event t-shirt designed by one of our students! Children under 10 participate for free.Once registered online, individuals and teams work together to fundraise and earn exciting prizes.

On Saturday, May 7, 2016, the event schedule will be as follows:

  • 8:00 - 9:00 am: Check-In and Opening Ceremony
  • 9:00 - 10:00 am: Run/Walk
  • 10:00 - 11:00 am: Closing Ceremony

Miles for Moms will happen in rain or shine!
