I'm really excited about Doors Open Denver next weekend, April 23rd and 24th, 2016! It's one of my favorite local events, that allows the public to get a peak into some of our city's most unique buildings.
Doors Open Denver (DOD) is an annual two-day event that provides opportunities for residents and visitors to explore our city, creating meaningful connections to the built environment and promoting quality design. Each spring, the Denver Architectural Foundation (DAF) inspires the community to connect, through self-guided (free) or expert-guided (fee-based) tours of Denver's unique spaces, including high-profile, historic and/or artistic feats of architecture and design. Doors Open Denver tells the story of where Denver is, where it has been and where it's going.

The event will once again be headquartered at Union Station. New in 2016 will be the involvement of the local arts community with arts and culture activities at 11 sites. In addition, the event's popular family-friendly Box City program will return. Learn more at http://doorsopendenver.com/
