Mark Your Calendars! This Holiday Season, Take a Peek Inside the Governor's Home

Make time during the holiday season to visit the Governor's Residence at the historic Boettcher Mansion, 400 E 8th Avenue.

The creative inspiration for this year's dÃcor is ˜Colorado's Lifestyles' featuring the many ways Coloradans live and celebrate. Colorado ASID designers showcase their originality and talent in designing a room that embraces artistic, urban, mountain, outdoor, skiing, and ranching lifestyles.

The Colorado Governor's Residence began as a landmark private home, was transformed into a display of old-world elegance and remains one of the west's true treasure houses as it approaches its second century. Part executive residence, part repository of museum-quality furnishings and objets d'art, the house is a meeting place for the past and the future.

Since the mid-1960s after moving into the Governor's Residence, Mrs. Love wanted the public to enjoy the home. Following Mrs. Love's example, œColorado's Home is open during the holiday season when the Governor's Office, the Governor's Residence Preservation Fund, ASID Colorado and Colorado Homes & Lifestyles welcome the public every day between Saturday, Dec 13th to Friday, Dec 19th from 10am to 2pm.
