Harvey Park's Mid-Century Gems

Want a neighborhood where you get architectural integrity, a garage, a large lot with mature trees and quiet streets for around $250,000? Harvey Park may be one of the last neighborhoods in Denver where this exists. Laying between Jewell and Yale to the north and south, and Federal and Sheridan to the east and west, Harvey Park hosts one of the highest concentrations of mid-century modern and post-war ranches in Denver.

With easy access to the Tech Center, Downtown, as well as, the Bear Creek bike path, connecting residents to the Denver bicycle path network, Harvey Park gives residents the ease of being in the city of Denver with suburban sensibility. Built as one of the original post-war suburbs when Americans fell in love with the automobile and Father Knows Best was a hit show, Harvey Park attracts lots of creative people for its amazing mid-century modern architecture, and is a great area for new homebuyers with a flair for design. Many original homeowners still love this eclectic community.

There is an active neighborhood association, committed to preserving Harvey Park's unique architecture and hosting community events. In June, the median home price was $235,000 and homes went from listing to being under contract in an average of only seven days! Houses run about $135 per square foot, which is much better than most Denver neighborhoods. As of July, there were 43 active listings in the area. Explore at liveurbandenver.com/harveypark
