3rd Annual Tour de Harvest comes back to Sunnyside this Saturday, September 14th.

Do you want to see some of the best urban gardens in Denver and taste dishes from some of the best chef's from Denver using the produce from these gardens? If so, then don't miss the 3rd Annual Tour de Harvest this Saturday in Sunnyside brought to you by UrbiCulture Community Farms. There are two walking tours and one biking tour still available so buy your tickets ASAP. Tickets are $40 before Saturday and $45 the day of the event. Come support a great organization and try out some amazing, locally produced food in the process.

2012 UrbiCulture Community Farms Successes

We harvested 8,622.25 lbs of vegetables and fruit on 3/4 of an acre.

50% of food harvested went to low income families.

We had 7205 hours of volunteers time given to help 2012 be UrbiCulture's best year yet.

We had 541 hours of logged time that Columbian students were in the garden- that includes the summer program, youth farmers market and garden to cafeteria program.

We hired two High School Students who worked a total of 271.80 hours this summer.
