This weekend in the Highlands. Sunnyside Music Fest Battle of the Bands and Taste of Highlands

Like I blogged about last week, I love living in the Highlands because it seems like there is always something fun going on. This week it is going to be a great Saturday in the Highlands and hope to see you out there.

Start the weekend Saturday at Local 46 for the Sunnyside Music Fest Battle of the Bands. From noon to 6, enjoy live music, pig roast, face painting, hula hoopers, silent auction and great drinks from Local 46 on their newly expanded patio featuring boce courts and ping pong. A fun event for all ages, click here for more details and to get tickets. All proceeds go to the Sunnyside Music Fest.

And after the fun Saturday afternoon, take the party to Highlands Square for the Taste of Highlands.Taste of Highlands will feature diverse cuisine from local restaurants and specialty food merchants, live music and a Beer & Wine Garden located next to the main tasting event in the BBVA Compass parking lot.

This is a 1st annual event for Highlands Square and is brought to you by the Highlands Merchants Association benefiting Edison Elementary School and Brown Elementary School in our Northwest Denver community. For more info and to get tickets, click here.
