Celebrate Mardi Gras and help support UrbiCulture Community Farms February 12th at Fire on the Mountain.

If you are looking for a fun way to celebrate Mardi Gras this year while giving back to your community, then head over to Fire On the Mountain next Tuesday, February 12th and help raise money for UrbiCulture Community Farms. Fire on the Mountain, at 32nd and Newton, will donate 10% of all sales to UrbiCulture Community Farms. As a bonus, they will be tapping a keg of UrbiCulture IPA, a one of a kind, fresh hopped IPA (brewed with locally grown hops!) made just for this occasion by Upslope Brewing Company.

For those of you who don't know, UrbiCulture Community Farms is is a multi-plot farm committed to providing food to people of all income levels by sustainably growing affordable, local food in the Denver metro area. They engage the community by educating the youth and neighbors on growing food and promoting healthy, active lifestyles, beautifying our neighborhoods with edible landscapes, and lessening the distance from farm to plate. So if you are looking for a fun way to give back and enjoy some great beer and food, make sure to check it out. For all the details on the event, click here.
