About a year ago, I learned about Pinterest from another broker in our office, Stacie Staub. It quickly became a bit of an obsession. Pinterest is a website that allow you to collect ideas, either from other users or your favorite websites and save them to your own personal "pinboard". You can create your own catagories and "pin" images to your boards. Since Billy and I are going to remodel our home, I pin design ideas, paint color, furniture, landscaping, kitchen layouts, etc...It's also a great way to save recipes or fun things to do for birthday parties or entertaining. They also have DIY ideas that are fun, easy and save money. In an age of social media, where there are so many things that tempt us to stay in front of the computer just a little bit longer, it's nice to find something that you can take away and turn into fun ways to spend time with family and friends.
