Dinner Co-Op Creates Cool Neighborhoods

vegetables_healthy_food.17114320_400

Community building starts one household at a time. Anyone can create a cool community vibe bydoing a little neighbor outreach. One ofthe best ideas I've heard recently, is to create a dinner co-op. Lets say you have four families or couples onyour block: each family cooks enough to feed an army once a week, then pulls out the Tupperware and distributesthe meal to the neighbors in the dinner co-op.Every household gets a home cooked meal four days a week and they onlycook once. If you decide to create a dinnerco-op you may want to create a rating list to help avoid the dishes no-onelikes and an allergy/dietary restriction check list, before starting. Dinners can be pots of soup, marinated meats ready for the grill, curries or casseroles.
