What is the most expensive home in Denver?

What is the most expensive home in Denver right now? I got to wondering this after lots of friends and clients asked me if I had seen the T.V. show, Million Dollar Listing on Bravo. I couldn't say that I had seen it, but after lots of colorful descriptions of the show, I decided to take a look to see how Denver stacks up against Los Angeles and New York in terms of ultra luxury homes.

It turns out the most expensive home on the market in the general Denver metro area is one listed currently in Parker. It is a 50,000 square foot home featuring 11 bedrooms, 24 bathrooms, a 16 car garage, 10 fireplaces, indoor pool and spa on 70 acres. The price tag for this modest home? How about $22 million! And since it has been on the market now for 4 years, perhaps you could get a steal on it. To see all the details, click here.

So how about the most expensive home in Denver County? Turns out, it is this 18,000 square foot home in the Polo Club currently listed at $6,450,000. This five bed, eight bathroom home features an eight car garage and has more custom features than I can list, all on 1.7 acres. And the yearly taxes on this bad boy? How about $36,000 a year! And how about condos? What is the most expensive condo or loft in Denver? Turns out it isn't right Downtown but instead, between Downtown and Cherry Creek in the 25 Downing Condos. This penthouse unit is listed for $10.5 Million. It is two story, 9,850 square feet, 5 beds, 7 baths and has 7 garage parking spaces. Monthly HOA's are $3,135 and yearly taxes are $24,000.
