The Westword's Best of Denver awards. Lots of Highland winners this year.

It is that time of year again. No, not spring, baseball season, picnic weather, gardening, etc., but "best of" season in Denver. First is Westword's Best of Denver followed shortly by 5280's Top of the Town and Channel 7's A List. It seems everyone looks to these lists for their favorite spots, a way to find new restaurants and shops, and with pride on how many nominations their neighborhood received. Like most years, Northwest Denver's Highland neighborhood came home with lots of "Best of" awards.

Below is a list of some ofthe Highland winners. There are many more to choose from on the main list as well.If you haven't visited them yet, you might be missing out, so make a point to check them out. Who knows, perhaps your new favorite spot is waiting for you below. And to see the entire list, visit Westword's site here.
