Montbello

The Montbello Neighborhood
Montbello began as a suburban-style development in the 1960s as a mixed use community at the edge of northeast Denver. Developers built a large variety of homes, ranging from small soap-box ranches, to large multi-level family homes. Residents enjoy Spectacular views of Mount Evans, Long's Peak, and the Continental Divide. To the north of Montbello is the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge, nearly 17,000 acres home to more than 330 species of wildlife inhabit the refuge, including raptors, deer, raccoons, coyotes, white pelicans, black-footed ferrets, black-tailed prairie dogs, and bison.
