Corcoran Perry & Co. - Barnum/Barnum West

The Barnum Neighborhood

Situated just south of the Sixth Avenue Freeway, it was named after American circus mogul P.T. Barnum, who bought acreage to establish a winter home for his circus in the city. It never materialized, but the amazing views of the city from Barnum Park and plenty of Denver’s ethnic restaurant options along Federal Boulevard, this neighborhood offers a lot for people looking to buy a 1950s-era single-family home close to downtown. It was named one of Denver’s hottest neighborhoods in 2016, due to its affordability. Its common to see many of its simple ranch homes being remodeled.
