I like to operate under the belief that I'm not a complete freak and there are other people in the world who think like me. (That could be a flawed assumption, but we all need something to believe in.) One day, while I was living in the city, I came to a stoplight around sunset. I looked up to the west, saw the front range, and thought, "That's why I live in Colorado. Can't I live there and still work and play in, and feel connected to the city?" Feel free to read that again with an overly dramatic, master thespian flair. It's fun.
I found out that the answer is "yes". I live west of Denver and in addition to being "real estate guy" topeople on this side of town, I representa tonof buyers and sellers in the city. I always will because I love the city. My wife and I love checking out Denver restaurants, breweries and shows at the Ogden, Bluebird and Larimer Lounge. A lot of us tend to think that once you move out to the 'burbs, it's a one-way ticket and you'll never come back to the city. That is very happily not true, especially if you live WestOfDenver.
So here you go. Please check back in at WestOfDenver.com for updates on neighborhoods you can find and cool stuff you can do when you live west of Denver.
