My buddy Darlene Drennon with Guild Mortgage sent me this chart the other day. When you see these statistics in a graph form, it's pretty remarkable to see how today's interest rates are the lowest they've been in the last 30 years! For all of the 1980's rates were above 10%. Yikes.
