3 Reasons why now is the time to buy a Denver home.

denvercitypark_495

Why is now a good time to buy a Denver home you might ask?Typically in February in Denver, the Real Estate market is rather slow and nota lot going on. People are waiting for spring to roll around when the œsellingseason starts and then will decided to do something. But this past February wasby no means your standard February in Denver and if my experience yesterday wasany indication, two of my clients got outbid by tens of thousands of dollars;March certainly won't be typical either.

If you have spoken with a Realtor in Denver lately, you knowthe market is hot and ready to take off. I am strongly encouraging everybody Iknow who is considering buying to do it now before it is too late. But if youdon't want to take my word for it, here are three compelling reasons fromexperts on why now is the time to buy a Denver home.

1)Warren Buffett says so. When Mr. Buffett speaks, most people take notice and listen. On Monday he said rather bluntly, œI'd buya couple hundred thousand homes if I could. If held for a long period of timeand purchased at low rates, houses are even better than stocks. Hard to arguewith the man. Click here to read more.

2)Barbara Corcoran, the Real Estate lady from theToday Show called Denver the top rebounding Real Estate market in the countryand the best place to buy. œEverything about Denver is pointing up, up, up! Tosee the video, click here.

3)FHA Mortgage insurance costs are going up. ComeApril 1st, it will cost even more to get an FHA loan. The monthlymortgage insurance will change from 1.15% to 1.25% meaning an extra $15 a monthon a $200,000 loan. It might not seem like a lot, but this rate keepsincreasing and is significantly higher than this time last year.
