What do you love about Denver?

What do you love about Denver? It is a question that I get every so often, especially when I have a new client in the car from out of state. I typically babble on about the mountains being so close, the great restaurants, parks, events and how active the community is. But as I was driving back into town the other day after a week on the road, I got to wondering what else it is I love about living in Denver?

I'm sure if I thought long and hard about it, and it is something I plan to do when I have more time, I could put into words all the reasons I choose to call Denver home. But for now, I think I will turn towards pictures to help define what I feel truly expresses the heart and soul of Denver.

In doing so, I look to one of my favorite Denver photographers, Martin Yeager. Martin is a Real Estate photographer during the day, but has also done a great series called Neighborhoods of Denver that I feel truly expresses the heart and soul of Denver. To see more of his work, click here. This website is mostly Denver Real Estate related, but hopefully his Neighborhoods of Denver series will be up soon. And I would love to see your favorite pictures of Denver that you feel truly expresses this great city we live in too.
Photo: One more from last night with the full moon. This was at the Speer Blvd and Downing street bridge. You dont have to look at your computer sideways either!
Photo: I was taking photos this evening of a listing coming up in Congress Park for Nicole Winsauer and checked in at City Park. Clear night to enjoy the fountain lights. Hardest was to figure out which one to post!
Photo: City Park this morning.....I needed to add to the portfolio of local images. I actually forgot about this vantage point. Amazing day in an amazing city.
Photo: Tonight along Blake Street. As I was shooting photos outside, the fans inside let me know the bats have returned once again! Go Rockies. Great night to walk downtown.
Photo: West 32nd when the the sun goes down.... Ya got to love the Highlands and Live is right there! Great place, great people, great time to be part of the best company in Real Estate.
Photo: An image I took today at Sloans Lake... Stay tuned, I am doing my first Live Urban Real Estate neighborhood gallery of images this month at the Highlands Garden Cafe...featuring the neighborhood and life around Sloans. More to follow. I wanted to share these two with all of you!
