2012 Rebates from Denver Water for toilets and washers

If you live in an old house like I do, then you probably have an ancient toilet or washer that uses way too much water. Switching out the toilet or washer is a quick and easy way to save literally gallons of water a day and after the great rebates offered by Denver water, much more affordable than you might imagine.

Through the end of the year, you can get a $75 rebate for up to 3 toilets per household for qualifying, high efficiency toilets. You can also get a $100 rebate for qualifying clothes washers. I would imagine that Denver water will offer a similar rebate again next year, but you can never be sure. Make sure to take advantage of these great rebates and help save some water while you're at it. For more information, click here.

Clothes washer ($100 rebate)

  • Only models listed are eligible.
  • Limit one clothes washer rebate per residence.
NOTE: The qualifying model list for high-efficiency clothes washers is updated on a regular basis. The washer must be on the qualifying model list and purchased within the last six months of the current list.

High-efficiency toilet ($75 rebate)

  • Only WaterSense-labeled toilets that use 1.28 gallons per flush or less are eligible.
  • Limit three toilet rebates per residence per a 10-year period. Please call 303-607-3110 if you are unsure of previous rebates.
  • Low-flow toilets (1.6 gallons per flush) do not qualify for rebate.
NOTE: The toilet must be a WaterSense-labeled product.

Rotary nozzles ($2 rebate per nozzle)

Weather-based smart controller with rain sensor ($100 rebate)

  • See information and qualifying model list.
  • Limit one per residence.
  • Requires rain sensor and weather-based technology. Must have both to qualify; may need to be purchased separately; qualifying model list applies for controller only.
  • Prices vary depending on the model, brand and vendor.
  • Equipment cost and labor must be separated on receipt.
  • Be aware that smart controllers must not operate between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. In rare conditions, the controllers may operate more than three days a week.
