
Even though Halloween is a week away, Halloween fun in the Highlands starts this weekend. With so many families moving in and living in the Highlands, it makes sense that the events really cater to children. Trick or Treat Street on Tennyson - A North Denver tradition for over 15 years, join fellow trick or treaters as they walk up and down Tennyson Street collecting candy from 38th to 46th. The event runs Saturday, October 25th, from 10 to 2 but make sure to get there early before thecandy runs out.
Harvest Festival and Trick or Treat Street at Highlands Square -Highlands Square's annual Trick or Treat Street event is being expanded this year to include a Harvest Festival. Come to 32nd Avenue Sunday, October 26th from 12-3 to enjoy a fun afternoon of festivities including live music, face painting, bounce castle, photo booth, costume contest, trick-or-treating to participating businesses, and MORE! This year everyone can also enjoy shopping at a small Harvest Festival market picking up seasonal goods harvested or made locally. Pumpkin Carving and Costume contest at Little Man Ice Cream - Sunday, October 26th from 4-6, head over to Little Man Ice Cream in LoHi for their 7th annual pumpkin carving and costume contest. Free entry for the contest with prizes for winners including a long board from BoardLife and a free ice cream sunday party. Free snacks, drinks and a live bluegrass band.
