Will the Denver Broncos Playoff Run Affect the Denver Housing Market?

You know those random thoughts you have when you're watching your favorite home team celebrate a big win, headed toward the playoffs?

Things like....

"I wonder if we can get playoff tickets?"

"I hope Peyton has it in him to make it through the Super Bowl...:"

and, if you're like us, you think,

"I wonder how this will affect my home's value?"

Well, at least we're not the only ones...our favorite local Stats Expert and fabulous Land Title Sales Manager, Megan Aller, crunched the numbers and came up with the following:

The Sunday directly following the last game played by the Broncos reported an increase in under contract transactions of 35-40% in the last 3 years.

If your buyers would appreciate a little less competition in the showing and offer phase of their home purchase urge them to get out while the Broncos are still in the hunt for the Super Bowl. The rest of the market will ramp up once they are out!

Aaaaand here's a graph to prove it, consider this myth confirmed.

Crazy, right?

If you're thinking about making a move, give us a shout!Hopefully Peyton Manning and the rest of our hometown boys in Orange and Blue will keep us in the run for the Super Bowl long enough to get your home Under Contract quickly!

Goooooooo Broncos!
