The Denver Post's Top Workplaces program recognizes good employers in the Denver area.
The evaluations for the list are based purely on employee opinions, which are gathered through the tried and tested WorkplaceDynamics employee survey. This isn't about free lunches, or trips to Las Vegas. It's really about whether employees feel inspired, and are given the room to do great things. The list is based on employee's opinions of their employers. The Denver Post has produced a special section profiling the winners every year since 2012.
Workplace Dynamics sets out to prove this, and to recognize the very best organizations through Top Workplaces lists. They hope that by championing good practice, they could encourage more companies to work better. The response has been overwhelming. 5 years on, over 4,000 organizations now participate in the program each year.
Here's what The Denver Post had to say about Live Urban Real Estate in 2016:
Live Urban brokers say they appreciate the cooperative atmosphere the company has created in a business that can be highly competitive. "I never feel in competition with other agents," an employee wrote. "There is a lot of encouragement to live a balanced life with work and play."
The firm hosts an annual Harvest Party at an urban garden to thank its clients and to benefit local non-profit organizations. Live employees say they feel appreciated and respected as they help their customers buy and sell homes. "I don't have managers constantly wanting to meet with me and always contacting me. I work best in an autonomous environment, and if this is what you want, they let you roll with that," an employee wrote. Said another: "The entire experience of working here has made me love what I do more, and I don't think I would be half as successful if I would have worked someplace else."
