We are fortunate to have incredible produce here in Colorado. The dedicated farmers and agriculturalists throughout the Front Range have curated some of the freshest and best produce while focusing on strengthening our communities through food and farming education, outreach, and accessibility. There are plenty of places to purchase local fruits and veggies outside of your traditional grocery store, such as farmers' markets, farm stands, and CSA boxes.
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA Programs) consist of community members who pledge their support to a farm's operation so the farmland essentially becomes a community farm. Most CSA programs include the option for you to purchase a ˜share' of the yielded crops, so for a season, you get a bountiful box ofharvested produce to enjoy, weekly for an entire season. It is a fabulous alternative for purchasing your produce this summer, and you'll feel good about supporting our local farmers and enjoying their top-quality produce.
