Discover Denver's Art Communities with First Friday Art Walks

The summer weather has arrived and it's the perfect time to discover Denver's creative scene at First Friday Art Walks. The art walks can be found in several neighborhoods across Denver, some featuring live music, food and beverage deals, and additional local artists and vendors. It's a wonderful way to support artists in the community and enjoy the neighborhood.

Here are some of our favorite art walks for a night out on the town!

First Fridays on Tennyson

Location: 41st Street and Tenny Street

One of Denver's largest art walks - between 38th and 45th on Tennyson. Enjoy cocktails and live music on the patio while soaking in the hustle and bustle of the Regis neighborhood. Then stroll along the Tennyson drag to take in all of the local art.

First Friday Art Walks- Santa Fe Art District

5:30 PM - 9:30 PM

Location:Santa Fe Drive and 13th Avenue

The Santa Fe Art District offers one of the most popular art walks in Denver, year-round. Stretching from 5th St. to 11th Street in Lincoln Park, this art walk offers art from hundreds of artists in galleries, studios, co-ops, in alleys - everywhere!

First Friday in RiNo

6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Location: 36th St. & Walnut Street

The latest and greatest art district to hit the Denver scene, RiNo has risen as the newest popular art community walk. On the first Friday of the month, RiNo Galleries and local businesses open their doors to the community to celebrate all of the artists and galleries in the area.

First Fridays Art Walk South Pearl Street

5:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Location:South Pearl Street and E. Louisiana Ave.

Come for the art and music, stay for the food! First Friday Art Walk South Pearl Street, in the Platt Park district, features a variety of local artists, galleries, musicians, and local participating eateries!

Community art walks are a big part of the art world here in Denver. Each walk has its own distinctive 'vibe'of a casual night outwhether you're gallery hopping or sipping on a refreshing cocktail at a local distillery. They are a quintessential part of what makes the Denver community so wonderful - Enjoy!
