As we head into spring, Denver’s housing market is showing signs of movement… but not enough to call it a comeback. The February numbers paint a picture of a market still adjusting to higher rates and affordability pressures, even as inventory continues to climb.

For over two decades, Denver Restaurant Week has turned the city into a playground for food lovers, offering a delicious excuse to finally book that table you've been eyeing. What began as a modest lineup of local gems has evolved into a full-fledged culinary extravaganza, featuring Michelin-starred chefs, James Beard nominees, and enough pre-fixed menus to make even the most decisive diner hesitate.

The Denver housing market wrapped up the year looking... well, a lot like last year. If you were expecting dramatic shifts, you might need to change the channel. This year started as more of an unbiased documentary than a soap opera. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t trends worth watching. Buyers have more inventory to choose from, sellers are negotiating more than they did in the pandemic frenzy, and home prices continue to climb. (Just not at breakneck speed.) As we head into spring, a season that typically sees increased buyer activity, we could be in for more of the same instead. February 2025 Denver real estate trends clue us in. 

When we think about Colorado’s past, names like Kit Carson and Buffalo Bill might come to mind. But Black Coloradans have been just as instrumental in shaping the state’s legacy. It’s downright wrong that Colorado students don’t learn about them right along with the likes of Molly Brown… she didn’t fight segregation in schools or provide medical care when racist rules prevented Black Coloradans from getting the treatment they needed. But guess who did; these pioneering lawmakers, fearless cowboys, and impactful entrepreneurs. 

It's 2025, and we're eagerly awaiting the wave of home decor trends set to make their mark this year. Historically, home design trends have followed fashion movements, infiltrating living spaces with a slight delay. Remember the 90s obsession with chunky platform shoes? Those eventually stomped their way into furniture legs. And let’s not forget the early 2000s velour tracksuits because, yes, velvet sofas were their inevitable fate. And we happen to think 2025 home decor trends will be no different. As they say, it’s all just a bit of history repeating.

Colorado is home to mountains, craft beer, and, yes, some seriously impressive architecture. You might think the state’s true beauty lies in the rugged outdoors, but take a step inside some of its buildings and you’ll find that the structures provide their own breathtaking views. From modern masterpieces to historic gems, Colorado’s architecture is a mix of bold, daring design and a deep respect for the past.
