Madison began her career in real estate after 13 years of diverse and progressive experience in the energy industry, where she managed functions ranging from engineering to investor relations. This means she has refined analytical and negotiation skills – a perfect combination to ensure you’re well-represented when buying or selling.
Her ability to network and build relationships afforded her unique and deeply interesting opportunities; it’s not every day an engineer sits next to a Fortune 500 CEO and guides him through quarterly earnings calls.
Madison is proud of her commitment to life-long learning and even more proud of her ability to teach others what she's learned. Together, those traits drive her success as a REALTOR.
Q&A with Madison Spangler
What neighborhood do you live in?
Park Hill
What does "Be Home" mean to you?
When you're physically present at home, you should mentally be there too. Create a space for yourself and your family that's inviting, relaxing, and allows you to decompress and have fun!
How do you "Live Who You Are"?
I strive to be authentic in every interaction; whether you're a client, the grocery store check-out clerk, or in the seat next to me on a plane, I will always treat you with the same respect I hope to receive...and I'll probably ask about your dog/vacation/sweat suit!
What music is currently on your playlist?
Taylor Swift (Obviously!), Morgan Wallen, Garth Brooks, John Mayer, and the Little Mermaid Soundtrack (Did I mention I have a 5yo?)
What local causes get your time and/or money?
Every year, my neighbor cycles thousands of miles in an effort to raise money and awareness for medical research. After 29 years of riding for The National MS Society, last year he switched his fundraising efforts to support The ALS Association. My husband and I are both in awe of the tireless work he's doing and always support his effort!
Give it up. What local restaurant is your best-kept secret?
As a Kansas City native, I hold a place in my heart for BBQ. And while they claim to be Texas-style barbeque, I think Post Oak (4000 Tennyson) does it best. Don't forget the banana pudding!
