Why Real Estate... Aren't There Enough Agents On The Planet Already?
My real estate career began in college at Auburn University, working as a handy man, saving money for ski trips in Breckenridge. My landlord, in what was essentially a tree house near the football stadium, hired me for handy work at a number of his properties. I remember thinking “This guy makes a very good living renting out properties around campus. That sounds pretty cool!” After the down turn in 2008, I spent my entire savings and bought a fixer upper. Using my prior experience and remodeling the home to rent out, I learned the ins and outs of real estate investing. That house lead to a couple more investments before I realized “This is a niche I know and can help people navigate.” I decided to get my license and never looked back since.
