10 Things To Do In Denver Before the Snow Flies

I've been fascinated recently with the 1000 Places to See Before You Die publications. As an avid traveler I've been to many. But I have been adding new ones to the bucket list on a daily basis, can't wait to get out there and make some new memories! As real estate can keep us hopping during the summer, our travels to far away sites will most likely have to wait until fall. That won't keep us from kicking up our heels and having some fun in our hometown.hope to see you there!

1. City Park Jazz - bring your wine, a picnic and head down every Sunday evening starting at 6:00 pm throughout the summer. It's free, great jazz and some of the best people watching ever!

2. Not your mama's outdoor market, visitLe Jardin Secret, Saturday mornings in Larimer Square. Shop for bread, cheese, meats and veggies while sipping on your mimosa.

3. Movies in the park. Both Skyline and Civic Center Parks offer a chance to stretch out and watch a show under the stars. I can't wait to hear everyone singing along to Frozen!

4. Film on the Rocks. On that same note, movies at Red Rocks are amazing. There is always a band or two rockin' the house before the movie begins at dusk.

5. Coors Field. The new Rooftop Deck is the perfect place to take in a Rockies game. Get there early to stake out a good place for beer and baseball, $14 ticket includes $6 in concessions.

6. Cruiser Ride. Every Wednesday night, hundreds (yes hundreds!) of fun loving adults put on their tutu's and duct tape to match the theme of the evening, and peddle through downtown ending at Civic Center park. You must experience this at least once trust me.

7. Outdoor concerts. Hudson Gardens, Red Rocks, Botanic Gardens, Elways, Rock Bottom the list goes on. You can find live music outside almost every night of the week.

8. Patios...patios...patios. Nothing is better on a lazy summer day than a cool beverage on a sunny patio. We have our favorites, but always love trying a new hot spot.

9. Hike. Love a great hike, from Mt. Falcon to Chautauqua to Golden Gate Park, go for an hour or all day, it's always gorgeous.

10. Festivals. Chalk Art, Pridefest, People's Fair, Cherry Creek Arts, Dragon Boats, Black Arts, Taste of Colorado something for everyone!
