Niffy is a Wyoming native who fell in love with Steamboat Springs and the Yampa Valley. Born and raised in Cheyenne, she grew up as part of the fourth generation preparing to carry on her family’s rich cattle ranching heritage. As it turned out, Niffy’s passion wasn’t really in cattle ranching after all, and her dreams soon landed her in Steamboat.

Prior to heeding the call to get into real estate in 2003, Niffy enjoyed teaching elementary students at Soda Creek Elementary. However, her ranch upbringing sparked the affection that she feels today for historic homes and beautiful land lots that are the backbone of the Yampa Valley. Her appreciation for the Valley’s history and the joy of helping people sell or buy a place they can call home is really why she became a Realtor. Twenty plus years later, Niffy’s passion for mountain landscapes and for her real estate clients is as strong as ever.

Whether you’re looking for your first home, mountain getaway, ranch, investment, or commercial property, Niffy will strive to make your real estate adventure a gratifying, fun, and successful experience.

Q&A with Niffy Bube

What neighborhood do you live in?
Steamboat and the Stagecoach community

What does "Be Home" mean to you?
“Be Home” to me means more than just a place—it’s where life happens. It’s the comfort of home-cooked meals, cozy movie nights on the couch, and the freedom of no makeup Sundays. It’s where laughter fills the rooms, tears are shared, and every moment in between is embraced. Home is where you feel completely yourself, surrounded by love, warmth, and all the little things that make life meaningful. It’s a feeling of belonging, safety, and connection—a place where memories are made and life is lived fully.

How do you "Live Who You Are"?
“Live who you are” means embracing your authentic self and living life fully in alignment with your true values. It’s about playing in nature, living a healthy outdoor lifestyle, and finding joy in laughing with friends. It’s holding each other when we need to cry, accepting both your weaknesses and strengths, and showing up exactly as you are. It’s about embracing the changing of all seasons—including those of life—with grace and courage, knowing that growth and change are part of the journey. Living who you are means finding peace in being yourself and celebrating every moment along the way.

What music is currently on your playlist?
My playlist is pretty diverse—I listen to every genre of music. You’ll find everything from the classical elegance of Mozart to the intensity of metal. I love mixing it up, so whether it’s pop, indie rock, country, hip-hop, or jazz, there’s something for every mood and moment. It keeps things interesting and always fits the vibe I’m in.

What local causes get your time and/or money?
Causes that get my time or money are often influenced by my background in elementary education, which drives me to support initiatives related to children and education. Growing up on a ranch has also instilled a deep love for animals, so animal welfare is close to my heart. Additionally, helping community members in need is always at the top of my radar—I’m passionate about supporting those around me in any way I can.

Give it up. What local restaurant is your best-kept secret?
My favorite restaurant…you will need to come for a visit to Steamboat Springs to find out.
