I graduated from the University of South Dakota with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communications with an emphasis in Advertising/Marketing and Minors in Psychology, English and Theatre. I then relocated to ‘Ski Towns’ in Colorado for the better part of 13 years and worked in Hospitality, Conference Management, Event Coordination and was a Supervisor with Children’s Ski School.
After moving to the front range and settling in to Golden, Colorado I pursued my Residential Real Estate license and advocated for Buyers, Sellers, Investors and Landlords. Many years were also spent as a Leasing Agent for luxury homes where property management, staging and Tenant vetting became a pivotal role in my ever-expanding profession in the Real Estate Industry.
I am honored to be a (2x) Signature Achievement awardee for sales and growth volume with Corcoran Perry and was also a recipient of an Excellence Award for Sales Volume from the Denver Metro Association.
In 2008 I also opened Wild at Heart, an Artisan’s Boutique. This incredible experience taught me invaluable small business skills from accounting, marketing and merchandising to managing and training a remarkable staff to substantial customer service skills. The invaluable customers of Wild at Heart Boutique voted and, therefore, helped us achieve the coveted 5280 Magazines’ Top of the Town award four times.
My love for animals and the outdoors steered me to a volunteer position with rescue horses and other farm animals by doing daily barn chores, fund raising efforts and the overall support of these majestic animals.
